We went to Zamboanga last December 13, 2013 for the first GDG DevFest Zamboanga. I arrived past 12 noon in Zamboanga International Airport
and was picked up in the airport by Sven and Medz from GDG Zamboanga. We went straight to Alavar's Seafood Restaurant. Albert, Grace, Mitch, Jerome are already there for lunch. It took a while before the food arrived. Jerome and I went first to the venue (Centro Latino, Paseo Del Mar) because we will be the next speakers to talk.
Yolynne is halfway in her talk about GDG Philippines when we arrived. I was the next to talk and I discussed Android Design and Development. Most of the attendees are students and they are interested about Android. Below is the slides I used in my talk:
The speakers after me are Jerome Locson (Google Apps and Apps Script), Mitch Santos (Mobile Trends and Globe Labs APIs), Grace Sojor (Google Map Maker). After the event, we packed up our stuff. We had dinner in the nearby Distrito before going to the airport.
